Starting September 2009 there will be two program paths individuals can choose from toward obtaining their education in supply chain management. The first is the Supply Management Training Program, which leads to a Diploma in Supply Management.
The second is the Strategic Supply Chain Management Leadership Program (SSCMLP) leading to the Certified Professional Purchaser Designation (C.P.P.), soon to be renamed Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP).
To meet the evolving needs of the market, the Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC) has redesigned its national program leading to the Certified Professional Purchaser (C.P.P.) professional designation.
